Golden Heart Counseling

The name Golden Heart Counseling stems from my personal connection to my dogs, who have all been golden retrievers. Spoiler alert, I love my dogs. Photos of my dogs, both past and present, are scattered throughout my website. My clients are inevitably introduced to them at some point during a session because they are typically scattered behind me on the floor sleeping or occasionally fighting with one another.

Golden retrievers are known to have a knack for understanding and empathizing with human emotions, making them intuitive and sensitive to human beings. Let’s face it: golden retrievers are like the therapists of the dog world. Whether I am feeling joyful, sad, or anything in between, they always offer comfort and support without judgment. At the end of the day, I just want to be the person my dogs think I am.
