About Anne

Anne McHale Miller is a therapist in Texas

Hi, I’m Anne. I am a Licensed Clinical Social Worker and board approved Clinical Supervisor with 17 years of mental health experience. I received my Masters in Social Work degree from Boston College in 2007.

I could not survive in a world without my dogs, Dunkin Donuts coffee, Candy Crush, my Kindle, sarcasm, a solid playlist and reruns of Gilmore Girls, The Office or Schitts Creek. I am the classic introvert that everyone assumes is an extrovert, who relies on humor, and occasionally full on denial to battle all that life throws my way.

Life can be a lot; it can be too much or not enough or the same thing day in and day out. One thing I have come to learn is that it can be hard for everyone. I work with adults who seemingly have it all together despite their only reminder to “breathe” coming from their Apple Watch. Everything is always “fine” to others but they feel like they are in a constant fog, going through the motions and completely overwhelmed. If beneath your hard working and helpful exterior, is someone struggling with the day to day, yet you ignore it to help everyone but yourself, you are my people.

My experience in mental health has primarily focused on working with adolescents and adults. I have extensive experience in struggles related to anxiety, depression, trauma, grief, crisis intervention, relationships, life transitions and everyday stress.

That’s enough about me; I want to know you and your story.
